About Me

Naveen Kumar G: Manglore, Karnatak, India; Born in Puttur,a small Town in central Dakshin Kannada and growing up in the calm and beautiful surroundings was an inspiration to my inclination towards being an artist. When I moved to Mangalore to perceive a degree in Fine Arts, my thoughts of a Peace full small town were mixed with different shades of life in a growing city. The evolution in my thinking and a battle between the traditional values and modern life inspired me to take up contemporary style of art. My style of work reflects a strong contrast between the traditional thinking and modern living showing how our fast evolving modern world is sometimes still unchanged to our traditional values.One of my trademark in all the arts would include a horse, inspired by the art form called 'Pithora'. You would see it across most of my work. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) from Mahalasa School of Arts, and aspire to spread my love for contemporary arts through my work.
